I decided to make jalapeño cheese chicken for dinner but couldn't pass up painting a picture of the jalapeños before I chopped them up. I've been working with red a lot lately. It is a hard color for me to use since it is hard to lighten, if you just add white you get an ugly pink mud. Mixing more than one red together and adding yellow and a small amount of white seems to be working and keeping it vibrant.
